CDs a good buy right now?

I have a pretty good chunk of change sitting in a savings account right now. I have been pretty torn on how I want to invest this money. I was thinking about buying a mutual fund but after this good rally we just had, im not sure if it is the best move.
I was in my bank last week and noticed they posted a sign that had CD rates at 2%. Yuck…that’s below inflation!!!!
So a buddy of mine told me about a really good CD resource called selectcdrates.com. They break down rates by state which is helpful…I really don’r care what rates are doing in Montana LOL. So there is my two cents…buy CDs.

In Utah it’s a pretty solid time to buy real estate. It’s all down a ton but gulp gulp you have to have some guts to go against all of the fear that’s out there! Yikes!

Any online resource which helps to make investment a little bit easier’s great, as far as I’m concerned. This stuff’s confusing, so it’s nice to have a place where it’s mostly broken down for you.

I will have to admit I don’t have a ton of money on me but in the past, I have used CD’s with lots of luck. I love real estate right now. With rates so low and inventory high, I don’t see how you could go wrong if you are looking for a good solid 3-5 year investment.

This is right time for invest in the real estate.
The rates is on all time low.
So they should increase in the future.
